Water quality problem
The pH level is an indicator that characterizes the ratio of acidic and alkaline-causing substances in water. The pH scale values range from 0 to 14, where a value of 7 indicates a neutral environment. A pH level of 6.5 – 9.5 creates a neutral environment acceptable to consumers. Water with a pH level lower than 6.5 indicates an acidic environment, which can cause corrosion and a bitter taste to water, while water with a pH value higher than 9.5 indicates an alkaline environment and can affect the taste of water, the effectiveness of water disinfection, and promote corrosion.

Solution
WATEX FPH neutralizer series offer an efficient solution for problems caused by acidic water (water with low pH). If your water is acidic (low pH), you can use a neutralizing filter containing a self sacrificing media, that slowly dissolves into the water to raise the pH. Neutralizing filters must be backwashed periodically since they typically also serve as mechanical filters to remove solid particles from the water. They also require periodic replenishment of the neutralizing media. FPH neutralizer is equipped with manual backwash valve.
