Wireless Water Immersion Detector

The Wireless Water Immersion Detector is designed for early detection of water leaks and works together with a compatible automatic water shut-off valve. When water reaches the sensor probes, the detector sends a wireless signal to the control unit, allowing the system to automatically shut off the water supply and help limit potential water damage.

The sensor should be placed in an area where water is most likely to collect first in the event of a leak. Suitable locations include areas under sinks and washbasins, near washing machines and dishwashers, next to water filters and filtration systems, in technical rooms, and close to other water-connected equipment.

When water comes into contact with the detection probes, electrical conductivity between the probes activates the sensor. A wireless signal is then transmitted to the compatible shut-off valve, which can automatically close the water supply. This provides a quick response without requiring the user to be present when the leak occurs.

The wireless design makes installation flexible, as no signal cable is required between the detector and the valve control unit. A compatible control valve can operate with up to 5 wireless sensors simultaneously, allowing several potential leakage areas to be protected by one shut-off system.

The detector features a water-resistant construction that helps protect its internal electronic components against moisture and corrosion. This makes it suitable for use in areas where occasional contact with water may occur.

The Wireless Water Immersion Detector can be used in residential, commercial and industrial water installations. It is particularly useful near household appliances, water filtration and treatment equipment, plumbing connections and other areas where an unnoticed leak could cause damage.

For the fastest possible response, the detector should be installed at a low point close to the potential source of leakage, where escaping water is expected to reach the sensor first.
